It's been quite a while and I apologize for that. A lot has happened, but it's 3:17am and I have a flight to catch in the morning, so I'll make this brief.
Life has been like a whirlwind. There have been lows and struggles as well as highs, accomplishments, triumphs, and the closing of chapters in my life. Friends have passed away, gotten pregnant, gotten engaged. I started to head towards the corporate world and realized that I was being called to stay in ministry for at least another year. And finally, after 7 years of going to school off and on (most definitely "on" the past two years), I graduated from Santa Clara University.
I really can't believe it's done. It still hasn't hit me yet. I think it feels like I'm just on Christmas break or taking the summer off but school will come again. I feel like there are some risks God is calling me to take, some edges I need to step up to and leap from into His arms. I don't know for sure what they are yet, but it's exciting and scary at the same time.
I'm leaving for Hawaii in a few hours for a week. I want to sleep, be on the beach, learn how to surf, and do some minimal touristy stuff. Mostly, I just pray that I will slow down enough overall as a person to hear God as I haven't heard Him for a while.
